Examiner.com recently got their hands on the two Uncharted 2 betas, and they were impressed, claiming that Sony has "finally received their defining online experience to show that PlayStation gamers are serious about online gaming."

After engaging in many hours between the June beta and the just released beta, I think it’s safe to say that Naughty Dog has created one solid multiplayer experience within the Uncharted universe. With several maps, game types, characters, and modes, PS3 gamers are about to get an equivalent to Microsoft’s Gears of War. Featuring the same additive play style as Gears of War, Uncharted 2 goes beyond what that title offers. Sony has finally received their defining online experience to show that PlayStation gamers are serious about online gaming. If you didn’t preorder the game from a local GameStop or EBGames, don’t worry, you’ll be able to participate in the same demo on September 29th.

Amen.. Since getting on the beta 2 days ago. I must have clocked in about 6 hours of gametime, for me this is loads I mean Resistance 1 and 2 combined I didn't play online that much. No game gets me playing that much. Uncharted 2 is a very very good online shooter, what makes it so is the multi-tiered level design it allows anyone to get kills. It's friendly but hardcore it's very very good.
