In EA's new "Skate" Game, experience the closest thing to skateboarding without actually putting your feet on a board. With innovative controls that take advantage of the dual analog sticks, the power of next gen hardware, and the ability to sculpt tricks that define your own style, skate delivers an authentic boarding mecca like no other, as San Vanelona challenges you to explore, find, and own the best spots.

I was most impressed by the direction that Black Box has taken the skating genre, focusing on freedom and creativity rather than single-button-instigated combo chains

You can even capture footage with Skate reel to create and show off your style with friends across the world—because without footage, it's fiction. Get ready for all the fun, creativity and culture of skateboarding without the hours of practice, broken bones, and hospital visits."

Yep. Neoseeker has a profile for both the Xbox 360 and for the PS3, so it's not going to be an exclusive that the PS3 fans are missing out on. =)

Nice try, but I'm afraid "the closest thing to skateboarding without putting your feet on a board" is a bit of an empty-claim IMO. I mean, without putting your feet on a board, it's not even close to skateboarding. It's nothing like it.

It won't be anything like the real thing of course, but hey.

It'll be skateboarding with your fingers.
