Check out a mini preview of the 360-exclusive horror game Deadly Premonition, which is a revival of the canceled title Rainy Woods. A trailer and screens can be found by reading the full article.

If Rainy Woods was something you have been following (for years now…) waiting and waiting for just the littlest ketchup squirt of information, I advise your waiting to end. Rainy Woods, a horror game originally planned for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 by Marvelous (with their partner Ignition, once again such as with their recent Muramasa), has been halted due to its similarities to the TV series Twin Peaks. It was more or less scrapped, though the developer Access Games has gone back to the chopping block, brought some bits from Rainy Woods, and brings us Deadly Premonition. It’s now penned as an exclusive title for the Xbox 360. Screenshots, character information, a trailer, and more details below!

Looks awesome. Bit more gameplay footage would have been nice but ohwell.

Looks great! I'm always happy to welcome more horror titles, this and Alan Wake will be two great 360 exclusive horror games of 2010.

I found the game to look aweful but that may be due to the quality.

Eghh, I'll hold out for Alan Wake.

I've come to find that a lot of horror games lack any real horror to speak of.

All to common in this day and age. Fatal Frame and Siren seems to be the only ones doing it right.

The game looks a bit budget but who cares as long as the actual gameplay is good.

Alan Wake looks just like another Alone in the Dark. I actually enjoyed playing through Alone in the Dark but Alan Wake just hasn't excited me much to be honest. Hopefully I'm wrong though and it will be a great game.
