Get Ripped While Playing With Your Wii

FRoGBuster | June 26, 2007 | Previews | Wii
Now being addicted to gaming might have even more health benefits than just improving your hand-eye coordination! You can actually get a little muscle on that geeky arm! Wii Weights! Though you could just go with the budget version and hang bags full of dirt or sand on your arm.
The Wii Weights prototype is nothing more than your average strap-on wrist weight coated in white and stamped with that (likely trademarked) Wii logo, but let's face it, if you've got to burn the calories, you're better off doing so whilst playing Wii Sports.

This is stupid. Kids need to learn to run and eat right. Not wait til nintendo to make weights for it

don't worry, they'll probably sell an update that connects the wii to a wireless microwave and you can cook your dinner while you play.

For the first time ever in my life I actually agree with finalblade.

That being said, this isn't necessarily stupid, it just shouldn't be your main source of exercise, that's for sure.

Interesting. I already get enough exercise when I play the Wii.

Wii boxing was a pretty big workout. When I first got my wii I played it for ages and got very sore arms and I'm used to lifting weights etc.

I think this is a really nice idea - merging extra exercise with gaming (( ... its starting to get rid of the stereotyping : that people who play video games are obese lonely men who still live with their parents XD ... // ))

If I ever get a Wii I will get a tennis game. I play a lot already but I need to do a little more to improve muscle tone. But I still think that it's better to be out in the sun. Exposure to the sun helps growth.

really? That's interesting. They should make a wii-sunlight device that emits sunlight from the wii-bar.

It'd be better simply to go outside, and play it there.

These are really dumb. You could easily just make a weight for your wrists if you needed.

It is an interesting concept. Whether it will go for we don't know. Time will tell.

But it's not something I would get. I'm already a buffed guy. I can lift more than my weight.

I think this is an interesting idea but I don't think I will get it since I already exercise
