Sony has sent out review builds to the media and Examiner has shared their latest thoughts on the game after completing the unique title from Quantic Dream.

Sony and Quantic Dream had a mission to create a game experience like no other. While Indigo Prophecy offered a truly compelling experience with great characters, David Cage and his team at Quantic Dream have gone far beyond the experience they created in Indigo Prophecy. Expanding on the premise presented in Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain will push you to make moral decisions, second guess every choice you made, and really put you in the role of each of the game’s four main characters.

This seems like one of those games you HAVE to play. It's just so different I can't pass it up. That's why I love my PS3. Don't see stuff like this on the 360. Take that statement as you will, call me a fanboy if you like, it's simply the truth.

This is something I've been meaning to ask for a while, but... Am I missing something in regards to Alan Wake and Heavy Rain? They're often compared to each other, and I've heard alot of people say that Alan Wake is the 'Heavy Rain' of the 360. But as far as I can see they're chalk and cheese as far as similarities go. The only thing they seem to have in common is that they're exclusives.

Alan Wake is a 3rd Person Action Shooter. Heavy Rain isn't a shooter you most likely aren't allowed to even touch a gun in Heavy Rain.. Alan Wake is not the Xbox 360's Heavy Rain, you can't even alter or effect events in Alan Wake.. I don't care how this sounds but Microsoft wishes they had Heavy Rain but Alan Wake doesn't even come close.
