Remember, Soul Calibur Legends is not Soul Calibur IV ! There's nothing resembling a fighter, it's not online, and you can't even use a joystick! This is a game for Soul Calibur fans first, and fighting game fans second, which means it's a traditional action game focused on story and characters rather than move lists. And on Wii, it promises to be more than just a simple beat-'em-up ^^

Soul Calibur Legends, developed exclusively for the Wii, puts gamers in a third person action adventure that promises a unique approach to the series by truly utilizing the Wii's Remote and Nunchuk. Choosing from characters both old and new, players unleash special attacks on hundreds of enemies and a host of large bosses. Developed and published by Namco Bandai.

Looking good. Let's hope they do good for their first attempt. Normally, I would buy a new Soul Calibur game, but I'm renting this one first.

I have never played any games in the Soul Calibur series, but I have been hoping for a good action-adventure/beat-em-up game for the Wii, since it is from a well known fighting series so the combat could really put the player in the game. (The combat in Zelda was very nice in my opinion, so I think a game more focused on combat could come out very well on the Wii.)

This game looks interesting. I've gotten all the SC games to date, and this one will be no different. I enjoy the action/adventure type games, and since we're a year away from SCIV, this'll fill my anxious soul for some time, heh.

Liking the look of this game so far. I found Soul Calibur 2 great for the GC, and played it a ton. I just hope the combat system isn't shabby, and if this game turns out well, I will be buying it for sure.

I am really disappointed in what they said about the multiplayer aspect. Beat-em ups are a lot more fun with a full blown Co-op mode. I doubt I will get this game if things stay as they are.

It says online isn't in it in the first two lines (well, Cruxis Mana said it but still...).

Hmm, I think I would have rather seen another Soul Callibur, rather than a whole new styled game.

Soul Calibur + Wii = awesome.

All I gotta say is this: I hope they put in a true co-op mode, most games like this either feature a full-blown co-op, or no co-op. Oh well, not like a GameGrep comment will affect what they do.
