The first in-game footage of Rock Band has finally arrived and what can you say ... ??
It looks amazing ! Just think of it as Guitar Hero, but with a lot more members ^^

Dear God, I'm going to spend $200 on this game, aren't I?

Rock Band allows gamers to perform music from the world’s biggest rock artists with their friends as a virtual band using drum, bass/lead guitar and microphone peripherals, in addition to offering deep online connectivity. Built on deals with the world’s biggest record labels and music publishers, the music featured in Rock Band spans all genres of rock and include many of the master recordings from the biggest songs and artists of all time.

    I saw this video last night just before I went to bed. I went ZOMG. I think those people were a bit *too* into it. Sure, MTV probably paid them to over exaggerate but it made them looking like tools. The way they've laid it out on the screen is pretty nice looking. Although, most people don't have a very large TV like they used.

    Awesome! This game is so cool

    I'll definitely be on Guitar, but I think Drums might be more me. The layout is cool too. I hope this game replaces Karaoke at parties!

    This video has properly changed my view about the game, I WANT IT!!! Going to be damn expensive but something I could get for Christmas, only problem being how are you going to be able to play when you don't have any friends round, it's 12 oclock at night and you fancy rocking out for a bit? Anyone got any news on Single Player options?

    Well, if you have Live (which I think you do, like 30,000+ points maybe) then I think you can team up with other people and play that way.

    This looks terrible.

    If you aren't ready to discuss this versus GuitarFreaks/DrumMania, don't even bother thumbing me down or trying to talk to me. That drum chart looks incredibly boring.

    Wow, this looks great! I cant wait to get this game, even if I dont try any of the other instruments I can still play the guitar, which would make it be like an updated version of Guitar Hero, yay!

    I hope the computer will be able to play some features for you, so that 3 or 4 people don't all have to play at the same time.
    I just don't feel much like singing either to be honest ^^
