Electronic Theatre delivers a hands-on preview of Strawdog Studio's latest Xbox LIVE Arcade project, Space Ark, an Action-Puzzle title set for release this coming April.

Arkanoid, Rainbow Island, Bust-a-Move, Geometry Wars and Trials HD; these are just some of the widely respected titles thrown about by Strawdog Studios when discussing the games that have influenced Space Ark, and with respect to the impressive character art Electronic Theatre would throw in Animal Crossing to the mix. But while the echoes of each of these – and many more – famous videogame releases can be seen in Space Ark, it plays like none of them. Instead, the game is a culmination of some of the best ideas of 1980’s Action-Puzzle gaming, all brought to life with a modern lick-of-paint.
