Dakota Grabowski had the privilege to watch a recent demonstration of EA Sports MMA at the EA Sports Showcase at GDC last week. Demonstrating Nick Diaz vs. Cung Le, EA Sports MMA had a lot of new information about blood transference.

Although the team wasn’t able to confirm or deny any new fighters, leagues, or the stats of any of the currently announced fighters, they were able to confirm that more will be announced with coordinated press releases over the coming months. In the case of new leagues, they said they will be ready to speak more freely on them once they are able to discuss the single-player campaign mode. I’ll be crossing my fingers for a general manager mode of sorts that allows the user to play the role of Scott Coker of Strikeforce and sign and release fighters at the drop of a dime.

Sweet, no console specific DLC. Wish more games would do this.

Wah... UFC was amazing? Really? I'll be avoiding MMA and sticking with Fight Night.
