Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming espionage title refines the recent trend of dynamic gameplay and storytelling found in many action-RPGs today. After a closed doors session with the latest build of Alpha Protocol, it seems that there will be more branched plot scenarios than originally thought.

    Looks like its taking a leaf out of Mass Effect's book with the dialogue system.

      Nah its more of a common RPG element. Oblivion, fallout, Mass Effect & Dragon Age all use it too.

      The system was invented long before Mass Effect came along. Much of the Obsidian staff once worked at Black Isle Studios which really popularized it and for good reason with Fallout and Fallout 2, among other titles.
