With all of the RPGs being released for handhelds lately it may be hard for gamers to decide just which ones they should be picking up. One title that many fans of the genre won’t want to miss out on however is Persona 3 Portable, the port of the PlayStation 2 title now being released on the Sony PSP.

With new features and a more streamlined interface, handheld gamers are sure to want to experience this amazing game one more time when it hit stores July 6th, 2010.

One of the major changes to the game is the addition of a female lead option, which allows players to gain new social links and experience all new events as the characters react differently to the new main character. A drawback about this new option is that the anime cut scenes were removed, since they all contained the male protagonist, however the entire voice cast returned and all of the new conversations contain the original character’s voices.

Fans of the game will be happy to know that it will retain many of its original features from the PlayStation 2 release, with the exception of a few changes that make it more streamlined and easier to handle on the handheld.
