IGN take a look at the upcoming Goldeneye 007 for Nintendo Wii and see how it shapes up to its 13 year old N64 Version.

Detailing the parts that stay the same, and looking at the new pieces, Goldeneye Wii is shaping up to be one of this years biggest titles.

The opening scene is structurally very similar. The layout where you begin is almost identical and you have the same silenced pistol to take out the patrolling Russian soldier, who's packing the classic AK-47 machine gun. And yes, the first tower opposite the tunnel also has the infamous sniper rifle sitting there for you.

I played this game at E3 and I have to say it is an utter disappointment. Terrible graphics even for the Wii, terrible gameplay... I'm sorry to say. It will not give you that experience the N64 Goldeneye gave you at all. If any of you dont believe me then if there is some way to demo the game or rent this game when it comes out, I suggest doing that first before considering this game. But if not then take my word for it - Think EA's crappy PlayStation Bond games. Or rather, this is what Goldeneye probably would have been like if EA got the license and made it instead of Rare back then. If you liked those, then maybe I'm wrong and guess this would be the game for you. But as a huge Goldeneye fan back in the N64 days, this game does not take me back to it.

I think this game will be fun playing with 4 people in the same room. For the online to be fun Nintendo has to fix the lag issue. Every game I have played on wifi has lagged. I think this game will be great. It may not seem as good to some people but I think it will be successful.
