GameZone's James Pikover played Sonic's latest console entry, Sonic Colors for the Wii at E3 2010. With the more kid-friendly art direction, the use of colored Wisps to enhance Sonic's abilities, and varied 3D and 2D levels, will Sega give hope back to it's loyal fan base?

The combination of 2D and 3D gameplay, along with Wisps and a greater level design than ever seen in the past, gives us a positive feeling on Sonic’s future. Team Sega may yet breathe new life into their battered namesake.
