Having hands-on with Nintendo's Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Nintendo Wii, GameZone is confident that Retro Studios is delivering a quality title this fall after playing the game.

From the looks of things, Retro has done something great with the Donkey Kong Country series. They’ve brought the iconic character back to his roots in a way no one thought possible, and done it while advancing the gameplay and graphics enough to keep up with the current generation.

    I really do hope that this game turns out to be as good as it looks. I`m glad that Nintendo is bring the Donkey Kong series back to its roots because it's needed.

    The game looks really nice and I can't wait for its release. It is one game I plan to get for sure.

    I was wondering when they'd get to DK. First Mario, then Sonic, and now DK. The big 3 platformers of the 2nd/3rd generation of consoles. Booyah!
