GameZone's James Pikover takes a more in-depth look at the story of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The two previous games, having such an immersive story, hopefully means that fans should have something to look forward to on next-gen systems.

As one of the all-time greats in gaming, Deus Ex has left gamers in awe for over a decade now. It’s been seven years since the second iteration and Eidos hopes that the time is finally right for a brand new game in the franchise to come to fruition. As they say, the future is now.

    I've never heard of Duex eX until know and people are claiming its one of the best out there. Am I missing out here?

      I thought the same, so I checked out the first game in the series. It's not mind blowing, but I guess it was for the time. It is enjoyable to be sure, but I don't think it's as great as others make it out to be. Then again, I am not done yet, but so far, it's an enjoyable game.

      Just in terms of impact Deus Ex was one of the most influential games of all time. Heck it practically redefined a good three of four genres on it's own. That said simply in terms of quality it's somewhat outdated without a total conversion mod or whatnot.
