Jonathan Holmes gives his impressions on the Wii title, Epic Mickey. He describes it as reminiscent of pre-"teen trash" Disney days, where Disney was Disney. Listing good point after good point, he paints quite a positive picture for the upcoming game of the mouse.

There is so much that I'm leaving out here: the surprisingly evocative storyline (complete with hearts being ripped out of people's chests), the hundreds of collectibles, the 2D levels, the recreation of famous Disney cartoons and rides, but I really should save something for the review. As for now, I'll end by saying that Epic Mickey has a lot to offer for people who love the study of game design, classic Disney, or just anyone who worships at the alter of imagination.

I've been on and off about this game ever since it was announced. A Mickey Mouse game just didn't seem right in this day of age to me. But when I read news/previews like this, it really makes me think this game could be something great. I'm personally gonna pick this game up when it comes out, I want to see if it's really that good or not.
