Still hot on the gaming scene, the recent trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2 trailer teased gamers with less than a minute and a half of footage and nothing more. The question is, will this lack of effort that went into the trailer reflect the effort going into the actual game?

I remember hearing that FFX-2 was comprised almost entirely of recycled resources from the previous game, and playing through it I could tell. That was one of the main reasons I disliked the game, almost no new enemies, environments or character models.

I'm hoping that doesn't happen with FFXIII-2. That's my main concern right now considering the tight release date and what we've seen so far. We need to see more before anything can be concluded though.

I for one enjoyed FFX-2. Sure it was a screwy game, but it was kinda fun. I enjoyed the challenge it brought. Plus revisiting old areas 2 years after the first was cool too.

So do I think XIII-2 fare any better than XIII? I hope so. I was left with a sour taste from XIII and desiring a lot more. I could care less if the story is good, I just want it to fill the void that XIII left - mini games, side quests, towns, optional side bosses. Will that allow me to forgive FF? Yes.

If XIII-2 is a good game then it is a good game. I doubt that too many fans will judge it before trying it. I would like to hope not anyway.
