3DS: Disappointing In Person, Even to a 3D Advocate (Hands-On Preview)

I preview the Nintendo 3DS as a hardware piece based on my hands-on impressions from playing the game system at PAX East 2011 in Boston. There were some redeemable features to the gameplay I experienced but one glaring flaw must be discussed and made aware to everyone considering picking one up.

    Seems that the reviews and previews are now starting to come in giving the handheld less than positive impressions. They all see the 3D gimmick as something cool, but they all state that is doesn't work very well.

      I'd have thought so myself, after a while they 3D gimmick probably goes stale.

      I prefer to keep my 3D to movies, that way I go a good couple of months between each 3D film, at least that way I don't get too accustomed to it.

        3D works great in gaming. Just not 3DS gaming.
