Call of Duty 4 Beta Gets Good Review

The Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer Beta is nearly here, and many sites are giving great reviews of it from the 'Call of Duty 4: First to Play' event. Will the Beta be loved or shunned? With tons of features, including the multiplayer 'Perks', it will be loved, says IGN.

Infinity Ward wanted to create a multiplayer game anyone could get into. So rather than throwing everyone to the wolves, COD4 makes you earn the right to experience some of the more challenging aspects. At level one, you'll be forced to pick from a small group of premade classes. The classes determine your starting main weapon, pistol, special grenades, and perks. Once you hit level 4 (a task that shouldn't take you too long), you'll open up the ability to create your own classes -- that's when COD4 truly blossoms into a special multiplayer experience.

    Next time you see a video on the page that you can actually add to your article please do. Please have in mind that you should normally only submit articles that are 2-3 days old and not more because if they are really old, they are not news anymore. In this case I only allowed this because a lot of people might have missed IGN's massive preview of the game. Naturally they got to try it before everyone else.

    It may just be because it's a bad video, but are the graphics are kind of lacking? And the animation like usual is messed up.

      The graphics are great, the video resolution is just too small to be able to see all the shading (the most advanced sector of COD4's graphics) and texture detail.

    The knife kill at the end is the best part of the video.

    Hell yeah, I agree sort. I'm still debating whether to get this on the PC or the 360. For sure the video is on low-quality, though.
