Thanks to the great people down at EA Australia, Phillip Huynh from Console Domination made his was down to the media only event for Battlefield 3. Having spent some good hands on time on the game Phillip tells us his thoughts on the title.

Uprising is a night mission as you make your way through the now enemy controlled streets and try to reach the evac point in the earthquake's aftermath. Going Hunting though. Oh boy. Going Hunting. Now this was one nice change of pace. The viewpoint skips from the Marine you were playing in the two previous missions and skips over to a fighter pilot based on an aircraft carrier. You're going to be hunting down fighter jets and dropping air strikes on some unwary chumps. Unfortunately you don't get to pilot the plane, but if it's any consolation you're the gunner. It's up to you to shoot down some MiGs and drop some death from above. You also need to fire flares to fend off the odd heatseeker that those rather rude chaps are trying to shoot you down with. Anyway it's the sort of mission that would make you hum Danger Zone (and if you don't get that reference then you are either too young or don't watch enough movies).
