Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing
17 hours 19 mins ago
Electronic Gaming Monthly has decided to pit Halo 3 for the Xbox 360 against Killzone 2 for the Playstation 3 and compare the AI. In short, they say that Halo 3 has really smart enemies, but it's the total opposite for the Killzone 2 and it has dumb enemies. While they can't know for sure which will be better we shall soon be able to see for ourselves with the releases of the two games.
This is a direct contradiction from the latest hands-on by IGN and Game Informer, whom actually chose to note the positives of the early version of the game in relation to the "aggressively good" intelligence of the game.

But gameplay-wise, I'm having doubt on Killzone, since the first level seems so damn easy...I bet I can pass the first level on my first try in the hard difficulty.
Despite that, most of what we've seen so far of Killzone 2 has been scripted, those enemies ALWAYS jump over that thing in every instance of that demonstration I've seen.
Besides, I'm pretty sure having played Halo 1 and Halo 2 I have seen those bitches rush me more than use cover. I'd say the ratio to rushing and using cover is about 9/10 times they rush you instead of using cover.
So to even begin with "The smart get smarter" is a joke to begin with.
As said, EGM just likes to get attention and start shit, as does any publication.
