Daav from NoobFeed.com toys around with Mario Party 9 and the toying is good. It doesn't change the board game concept completely, but it couldn't alter anything any more if it tried. A ton of variety and content that all equal into fun; no game can expect any more than that. Mario Party 9 looks like the next big player for good, clean fun.

Probably the first time that I've actually looked forward to a Mario Party game in a long time. Glad it's taken them a few years to actually make this game instead of releasing it every year.

Seriously, this game felt like it surpassed every other Mario Party ever made by a clear distance. It doesn't even really need multiplayer to work, but should that be your thing, it's going to be even better. The handicap matches and team battles that alter the minigame concept on the fly just make it that much more pleasant.

Hm...sounds pretty good then. I'm more a multiplayer type of guy when it comes to the Mario Party series so if it's pretty good as a multiplayer game then my money will be well spent.
