This is a hands-on look at the Mass Effect 3 demo, which is set to release tomorrow. The demo for the highly-anticipated Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 RPG features both single and multiplayer gameplay.

The end is nearing for Commander Shepard and his crew. The trilogy is coming to a close with the release of Mass Effect 3, which is only three weeks away. BioWare has given us early access to the demo (which releases on Tuesday for everybody), which focuses on the beginning of the end. The demo contains two missions; the first of which puts Commander Shepard back on Earth and there are rumblings that something huge is on route to the human’s home planet. Fleets of ships have been assigned to defend the globe from the oncoming Reaper invasion, however they have greatly underestimated the power of these technological villains. The moon bases and fleets were eliminated before they could even send a message to Earth. The Reapers turn their attention to the homeland beneath Earth’s atmosphere. They first strike the UK and completely overwhelm their forces.
