Guitar Hero: On Tour will include a funky little device called the 'Guitar Grip.' Essentially it's a four-button peripheral, designed to mimic the fret buttons on a normal GH controller. "The Grip", which plugs into the GBA slot, will have a strap for your hand to keep things in place during play. The DS is held vertically, and a 'stylus pick' is used for strumming strings on the touch screen.

There will be career, competitive and co-op modes, and new power-ups exclusive to On Tour. You might have to put out fires caused by pyrotechnics by blowing into the mic, or sign autographs on the touch screen to see off adoring fans sent your way by your rival. More than 20 licensed songs are promised from the likes of Nirvana, OK Go and No Doubt. There will be six characters to choose from, including two brand new ones.

Guitar Hero: On Tour is down for a summer release in the US, with a European date yet to be announced.

This sounds like it could be hit or miss. I'll wait for reviews before I consider getting this.

Yeah if it gets some good feedback I'd definitely be interested in getting it, it looks okay and the idea sounds good. They should make a special DS pick lol.

I'd love to see how this works out. Seems a little funky I suppose with the way you're supposed to play it.

I have a DS Lite but if it doesn't work with the original one that's horrible. =/
