Soul Bubbles, unique action puzzler for DS this summer

chautemoc | March 19, 2008 | Previews | DS
The first thing you might think when seeing the screens for Soul Bubbles is "It's like Pikmin." You wouldn't be far off, but this is certainly not a bad thing (speaking of which, why isn't Pikmin on DS?). Anyway, Eidos (Hitman trilogy, Thief, original Tomb Raider) is developing it, and they describe it as an "enchanting action-puzzle game" and "the most refreshing breath of air to debut on Nintendo DS." The screens do the best explaining, though. Slightly higher-res versions can be found via the source article.
The action puzzler features 40 levels, stylus bubble wrangling and a bit of blowing into the microphone. It's hard to judge a game by a half-dozen or so screens, but it looks like it has potential.

Well it looks decent by the look of those pictures, at first I thought this was a new game with those little dinosuar games and the bubbles.
