Another relatively new developer has been set to work; currently Aksys and publisher Atlus are planning on releasing an update to the cult hit Super Dodgeball this spring. The game is going to be pretty heavily updated though, playing on a lot of RPG elements and featuring lots of tweaks and improvements.

Despite all these new additions, the essence of Brawlers remains true to the spirit of the NES original. The RPG elements and competitive gimmicks add a bit of depth to the game, but at heart it's still about knocking other people senseless with a small plastic ball until you're the last man standing.
