So, here is from what I have seen, the first preview of Resident Evil 5. I think it looks like a great game, I have uploaded some screenshots for you, there is a few more on the source, and there is some real in depth reading for you guys, I think I will be getting the game.
Zombies. They are awesome, theres no denying it. In video games weve shot them, maimed them, decapitated them and performed all manner of other gruesome acts yet it never gets old. One series that does zombies better than anyone else is, of course, Resident Evil (also known as Biohazard). In typical Japanese fashion, Capcoms zombie-themed IP has developed a rather convoluted and, some would say, overblown web of interrelated character stories, all of which revolve around the fact that the Umbrella Corporation are just a little bit nasty. They did amongst many other nefarious deeds turn a whole town into zombies using the dastardly T-Virus after all.
Gamers have been in it up to their elbows with this violent and visceral series from day one. From the struggle to escape an abandoned mansion in the first game, to a battle that spilled out into the ravaged streets of Raccoon City in the second, to the introduction of partner play and co-operative puzzles in Resident Evil 0, and then the most recent proper iteration, taking on the plague-infected Spanish denizens of Resident Evil 4.
