Ah, darts. The game where you throw pointy metal sticks into a board constructed of boar bristles. Well, it's coming to the DS in the form of Touch Darts, naturally supporting stylus control, and to be released in June. Agetec Producer Mark Johnson says the realistic action will quench the thirsts of "even the most hardcore dart fanatic." Mhm.

Who are these dart playing gamers...and why are they fanatics?

Anyways. Touch Dart offers four types of gameplay including tournament, challenge, quickplay, and multiplayer. Quickplay and multiplayer will allow up to four people to play darts on the same little console while Tournament mode will allow dartmasters to test their skill on three levels of difficulty.

Well, darts on the DS sounds a good idea, but honestly, I think we should leave that to the Wii.

Agreed. It would be much more realistic. Or even if they had darts with censors that worked with the Infared thing =P

You can get darts on that classics game anyway.

It sounds fun, yet seems more like a Wii idea. Anything interactive, that is. It looks like one of those games that will be fun for a bit, but lose it's touch after a few weeks.

Darts? Doesn't interest me one bit. Even if I had a DS, I still wouldn't consider getting it. Like mentioned above, Just leave those type of games to the Wii because more interactions = fun.

More interactions = fun? Not necessarily.

What would you rather play, Metal Gear Solid or Rayman: Raving Rabbids?

I prefer to play real darts. You just don't get the same satisfaction playing a video-game based off it.

Of course, but then there are some games that are better a game, then real life. Darts isn't one of them though.

    wtf?

How can you even play darts with a stylus?

Maybe by clicking the screen or something, with speed adjustments or something?

    Chuck pens at the screen?

Probably not, since it would be really easy to just chuck a pen at the DS screen, and it would be quite easy, and pointless. I hope they make the game better than it sounds >_>
