Fable 2: no demo, but lots of screenshots, trailer

Creator Peter Molyneux says a demo for Fable 2 is quite unlikely, partly due to the nature of the game. But on the plus side, a bunch of screenshots and a trailer have been released.

Speaking at Microsoft's Spring Showcase event in San Francisco Molyneux said, "There's no plan for a demo at the moment. Demos are probably the trickiest and hardest things to design, because there are probably 60- or 70- odd features we introduce to the player, and it takes us about ten to 15 hours to introduce all those.

"Trying to squeeze some of those down into a demo is really hard, if not impossible," he observed. "So I would vote not to do a demo."

Fable 2, an Xbox 360 exclusive, is due out this "holiday".

Argh, I hate all these trailers and screenshots surfacing up into the internet. They make me want the game even more.

  Don't you just hate games that don't have online co-op. I mean, how shite was Metal Gear Solid 1, Sonic the Hedgehog was utter wank and don't even let me get started on Super Mario Galaxy.

      Missing out... I guess you didn't get Oblivion another of this worlds biggest RPG's just because it has no online co-op.

Never finished Fable: TLC even....I probably should do that first >_>

@illmatic - Ummm yeah, of course they'll have Online co-op. It is one of the major features touted for this game....I think we've heard MORE about the online co-op than the main game >_>

EDIT: Also, 'no demo' isn't exactly surprising...'open world' games (and most RPGs in general) rarely have demos....There are exceptions though (like Two Worlds).

Both Fable TLC and Fable where fantastic games. I would not doubt this game would be a bad one. From the looks of this game it will totaly awesome. XD
