IGN got a hands on time with the Q-games upcoming game, PixelJunk Eden. PixelJunk Eden is the third installment of PSN games of the PixelJunk series. This one sets you in the role of a small dot as you travel through vegetation. PixelJunk Eden puts a lot of emphasis on the physics and how your dot would really act.

Q-Games is building up quite the library of interesting titles. Its first release, PixelJunk Racers, brought slot-car racing to the PS3. While we weren't all too impressed with that release, its follow-up, PixelJunk Monsters, wound up being incredibly addictive and is easily one of the best titles on the PlayStation Store. The studio is gearing up for the release of its third title, PixelJunk Eden, which clearly is going to be its weirdest and most stylish game to date.

The game puts you in control of a Grimp, a small creature who's name is derived from the words "jump" and "grip." Control is relatively simple from a mechanical standpoint - moving the left analog stick sets your trajectory, and pressing any face button will send you flying through the air in a large arc. If you're on a plant, jumping will leave a silk tether attached to the plant, allowing you to swing from it, while the shoulder buttons will reel you in. It's simple, but it does take a little getting used to.

They are. I like these games as they are a break away from all the harcore gory games.
