Shaun McInnis takes an in dethp look at the newest version of the Final fantasty sequel, and boy has it improved.

Clan trials are one of the new features added to A2 to help add a bit of depth to a game no one would mistake as the most hardcore strategy RPG in existence. Clan trials allow you to take part in an organized fight to unlock upgraded titles for your clan in addition to the aforementioned privileges.

When we last had a look at Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, it was in an effort to make sense of the Japanese import. It didn't take long to learn that Japanese is a tough language to learn on the fly--especially in the text-heavy realm of tactical role-playing games. So it's with no small sigh of relief that we recently came across a nearly complete version of the North American release.
