The Wii Balance Board is shaped like a household body scale and it uses four AA batteries as a power source, which can power the board for about 60 hours. The board is wireless and contains multiple pressure sensors that are used to measure the user’s center of balance, weight and body mass index. Like the Wii Remote before it, the Wii Balance Board is very intuitive and it’s extremely sensitive allowing it to pick up and record any shifts in weight.
