Another definitive review from Gamingverdict- Don't believe the hype, find out whether or not the game's really for you. Editor of GV, Matt Lees thinks that Crisis Core is a nice little game, but if you're not a massive fan of FFVII, chances are you're not going to get on with the highly prestigious PSP title.

Whilst it does have its undeniable charms, first and foremost Crisis Core is designed to be fan service: Whilst the weight of the FFVII hallmark gives the game an undeniable sense of gravity, at times it feels as if it also smothers it.

Being a very large Crisis Core fan, I would like to say that the majority of everything written in the article is shit.

LOL, no it is a personal opinion. I just love this game.

It's difficult to gauge whether or not an FF game really will prove enjoyable. They usually get stellar to good reviews, and anyone who gives a mediocre score to an FF game is immediately mauled by fans of the franchise. The only sure thing is that the graphics will be breathtaking, as with any Square-Enix game.

I think in the end, it comes down to the most obvious verdict: if you're into the post FF10 games, you will probably enjoy the next FF game, or the next, or the next.

I've always been an old school FF fan, and the ones on the PS2 and beyond have lost me completely. If it were up to me, FF7 would have died with dignity long before the movie, games, and other such spin-offs came out.

You deserve a thumbs up for that. Ain't it the truth.

Dunno, I loved FF12 and i'm big into the Tactics games too- but Crisis Core simply wasn't very well made...
