Well the Unreal franchise continues onto the next gen consoles. UT3 has been out on the PS3 for a while now - here we look at the recently released 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3.

Unreal Tournament 3. Wow. If I wasn’t busy having my brain blown out through the back of my head right now, I’d be able to explain how good this all is.

Let me try. Unreal Tournament 3 is an unbelievably fast, unrelenting shooter that... Oh crap, I’ve just been attacked by a be-tentacled walker, it’s a War of the Worlds death ray slicing my body in twain.

PS3 version sucked. Go figure that the 360 version gets a 5/5.

    You think I didn't like it? Every single one of my friends, PSN and in real life, say the PS3 version had no staying power, and the ratings aren't spectacular either.
    
    This is the 360 version. They added in significant things that the PS3 version lacks, like two-player splitscreen.

This is my first UT game, and I'd have to agree that it is quite beautiful. The gameplay is fun and I love the various weapons, especially the impact hammer.
