GDN International: Overspeed High Performance Street Racing Review

SuperGuido | August 27, 2008 | Reviews | PC
At first it appears Overspeed High Performance Street Racing will be a really cool street racing game. Well, at least that was the first impression, but upon closer inspection it's just...mediocre. Gamersdailynews covers the whole game with their foreign correspondent, giving you the low down and sifting through the grit...
The principle of the game is to be the best (what a surprise) and win every race to be able to challenge the master - Matt Peacock. At the beginning you are given a choice between two crappy cars that are slow and difficult to handle. When I played the game for some time and still wasn’t able to win even my first race because of the car crashed into a tree on the finish line, I got really frustrated and stopped playing. And my next tries were not much different and to be honest I kept coming back to the game just because of the review. Later when I started winning, this feeling disappeared and I quite enjoy playing the game.
