IGN: Mercenaries 2: World in Flames Review. The world is yours, Blow it up.

Linkin Park Fan | August 31, 2008 | Reviews | PC Playstation 3
IGN has just uploaded their review up Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. In Mercenaries 2, you blow stuff up. Thats what the game is about and thats whats fun! The game was just released in stores, so if the review got you interested, go pick it up.

Final Score=7.9/10
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is about blowing s*** up. If you don't like blowing s*** up, here's a deck of Uno cards. Now, if you're like me and you get a kick out of wrecking tanks, demolishing buildings, and setting the jungle ablaze, then Mercs 2 may be worthy of your attention. But be warned: there's a price to pay for the gift of tactical nukes and cruise missile strikes. For all the unadulterated joy of blowing s*** up, there's a mess of bugs and AI issues that may just turn you even more violent than usual.

It's a shame to hear about all of the bugs, but hopefully they'll be handled in a quick patch. This game still looks like so much fun, especially now with co-operative play!

Bugs are not really acceptable after it was delayed, i mean sure delaying for bugs fine but delaying and then releasing with them.

Bugs or no bugs, you would need to blow me up to stop me buying it on release.

I purchased this game today and played for hours. I haven't noticed even a single bug, or glitch yet. I did get an update after starting the game up for the first time though, so maybe the bug patch has already taken effect? In any case, a majorly fun game!
