WiiWare - My Aquarium review

Dark Arcanine | September 04, 2008 | Reviews | Wii Gaming Tech/Hardware
A new game to the Wii, My Aquarium is not really what the average gamer would classify a "game" - it is simply a virtual aquarium on your game console. At least you won't have to leave your house to see fishes swimming around anymore.
WiiWare's latest "game" can hardly be defined as one.

It's simple, relatively cheap at 500 Wii Points, but a bit bulky on the system sitting at 227 blocks.

My Aquarium claims to turn your Wii into a virtual fish habitat

    Why Nintendo?

    Why?

And how is this gaming news?

What I hate is when people that don't ever submit articles nitpick and complain about stories not being news. Nobody is forcing anyone to read these articles. I for one like variety and having the ability to choose which stories to read and comment on. This review is good for those who may have been considering this game-thing, now they know it's not worth the space it takes up in there Wii's precious internal memory.

When I first received a press release in my email about My Aquarium, I dismissed it. Then, I bothered to take a look and write an article about it for Neoseeker... and as I watched the trailer and composed the article, I found myself helplessly drawn into the appeal like a moth to a flame.

Sadly, my friends who do have Wii's refuse to purchase this.
