Imagine: Teacher review - Game of popular girl's series

Dark Arcanine | September 04, 2008 | Reviews | DS
Imagine: Teacher is just one of many in the Imagine series of games. This time, girls are positioned as a teacher named April of a local elementary school.

It's filled with minigames and is made to be realistic. Each student is appointed a "points system" to display how well they do in each subject along with how much they like you as a teacher.

Focusing on jobs from a rock star or figure skater to vet or interior designer, this series of games has the potential to make females more prominent in the workplace. It also has the possibility of teaching young girls skills for life.
Imagine: Teacher, the latest installment in its female-focused Imagine series of DS simulations.

Imagine: Teacher casts you in the role of a young woman named April who's just been hired to replace the aging and retiring Mr. Coddleton at the local elementary school.

The only need for this would be for schools, and seeing as how they do not allow electronics, approximately 90 copies will get sold worldwide.

The girls who buy these games should be locked in a basement and never let out.

I think the crusty old men who run our misogynistic society -- thus producing such games and ensuring their popularity among impressionable young girls -- should be locked in the basement and promptly shot.
