This latest offering in the Tales series by Namco was incredibly well received by critics, with most slating it as the best jRPG of this generation. Here's Gametrailers review:

    I want to play this game, but I'm not sure if it's worth a purchase. Can anyone tell me if it is, or should I just rent it?

      I have it, although I haven't played it much. If you are into RPG games, then I definitely believe that you should get this. It has a decent story to it, the combat is pretty addicting, and most of the game is VO'ed.

      Downsides, I'd have to argue that the characters are a little bland to me, and not being able to switch the voice-acting to Japanese kind of blows. That and half the time the party leaves for no reason what-so-ever in towns...they come back to you once you go back out.

      But it'll keep you interested, and even better, up to four players can take advantage of the game.

    I think this game is a buy for me. I always wanted to play it and see what it's like.
