Game Focus: NHL 2K9 Review

The first thing you read from this review from Game Focus is "Finally a hockey game on the Wii".

The review starts off talking about gameplay and how much fun the Wii Remote makes it (along with different playing styles and modes, plus the tiny let down of no internet support), then onto the great graphics (with a mention to great sound too), followed on by value and how the Wii version is cheaper than that of the other two main consoles and then finally the conclusion that NHL 2K9 for the Nintendo Wii is a fantastic game scoring 8.1 out of 10.

    Its great that the Wii finally got a NHL game, however a recent comparison about this game and NHL 09 says that NHL 08 is better game over all then this game, and NHL 09 just dominates this game by miles. But thats just more of a concern for PS3 and 360 owners.

    Other than that, it should be a fantastic game on the Wii.
