Spore Review for the PC

daverage | September 24, 2008 | Reviews | PC Wii
Spore is the latest creation from Will Wright - the mind behind the Sims series of games, but when you buy Spore you're not just buying one game, you're buying five of them in one. While this is one of the things that makes Spore great but is also its downfall.
Seeking out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go... Ok enough of that.

Spore is definately a great game overall but sometimes it just falls short to it's older brother The Sims.

Still it's an amazing game and DRM hasn't bothered me much at all really.

    Making my 3rd planet /\_/\

Definately the game that can turn you on to newer genres.

Now I'm interested in getting Strategy RPG type games after playing the civilization mode.

Lets just give this game a little time to grow in popularity on the store shelves and see where it ends up.

Really? I didn't know they actually made it multi-platform. Guess I'm not much of a fan of simulation games.

More of a watered down port than multiplatform. The DS got the shit offload version. The PSP version is expected to be between the two, making for an average competent game, hopefully.

I see. I like the DS and all, but I did hear a lot of people disliked the DS version and that it wasn't very customizable.
