Bioshock is just weeks away from release on the PS3 and evidently it has lost none of its luster in its port or year old age. In the upcoming copy of PSM3 magazine the game is reviewed and given a 93/100. A very impressive score and very close to what the game scored on the 360 and PC.

After just over a year's wait, and plenty of rumours, BioShock will launch for PS3 on October 24. One of the first reviews - from PSM3 magazine - is in and it gives the game the thumbs up.

As expected, the review gives credit to the game's epic story but later on PSM3 says, "Everything and everyone reacts as you'd expect it to, both physics-wise and psychologically so. This means that it's always possible to discover new combinations, making for some beautifully intuitive gameplay."

It adds: "You'll never make such a bad decision that you'll completely scupper yourself - it's effectively impossible to die, since all you do is respawn at the nearest Vita-Chamber.

I don't see why they would score the game differently on the PS3 than on the 360 and PC, much less give it a lower score.

Actually I received the Original Playstation Magazine last week (Used to be PSM) and they reviewed the game giving it a 5/5.....looks like PSM3 was beat to the punch. Believe me, it's definitely made me rethink a couple of games I'm getting this year. I've always wanted this game, but now just want it that much more!

"OMGZ its lower then the 360 version, let the PS3 fanboys come out".

Seriously it looks fine. Just because its lower in a few points doesn't mean its anything less then the 360 version.

The only reason I bet they lowered it is because it's a re-release of an old game. The game is still as good as before; nothing was changed, just added.

Its been a year since the 360 Bioshock; Obviously with the plethora of games emerged since then, its hardly going to merit the same score. Its still a decent representation of how beautiful this game really is. For those who havent had the opportunity to try it, I suggest you do.
