Another brand new review for Dead Space. This one is from PSW magazine. And not to much suprise, they praise the game and love. But what is a suprise is that the say its the "Worlds scariest game" and that it "topples the Resident Evil series from its survival horror throne". Is this game that good? The score sure says it is.

Final Score=9/10
The issue with the full review hits stores tomorrow.

Dead Space is "the world's scariest game" says the latest issue of PSW magazine, which goes on sale tomorrow with the first PS3 review. Needless to say, it scores well.

So well, in fact, that the magazine goes so far as to say it topples the Resident Evil series from its survival horror throne.

"No one has really come close to jostling Capcom's T-Virus infected romp through Eastern Europe from its top spot since it arrived back in 2005. That is until now, of course," says the review.

Just looking at it tells me it's the scariest game ever made, i mean even watching the videos chills me to the core. I am not a huge horror player i mean most games that are barely scary scare me but i am going to play this game in full and lap it up, i am in this to have nightmares lol.

Well to be honest, RE has never really been a scary series.Though having the nemesis constantly chasing you in 3 was pretty scary.

I think them using Resident Evil was a bad choice as just seeing this game in action anyone can see this is more scary that the scariest Resident Evil, i think this game is in Silent Hill or Fatal Frame territory. Though i think this game is in a different league as all past horror games focused on cliche and music for their scares, i think the Dead Space is reinventing the wheel to good success.

That's why I will be buying it.This game will be an invigorating one in the horror genre.

I haven't actually focused on the game but hearing what little I have is enough to make me want the game.

Resident Evil 4 wasn't too scary, but you all must have ice water in your veins if you say the first one wasn't scary, or even Resident Evil 2. Silent Hill is definitely more scary though. Anyway, I'm reall glad to be hearing good things about Dead Space. I'm getting it next week. I just hope it isn't short.

Resident Evil hasn't been at the top of the "survival horror throne" for years. Jut looking at Dead Space videos shows that it will be scarier.

I am SO getting this game. It looks like a much scarier RE4. I like horror games, but I found the old resident evils too slow and clunky. I liked RE4, but that just wasn't scary. Now this looks action packed and scary.

The original RE4 build looked to to be scary.I LOVE RE4 (it's one of my favourite games of all time) but I think I would have preferred if they kept the original build.

I've never been into the horror games. I don't get scared easily so they've never interested me (My cousin on the other hand . . . F.E.A.R. gets him so scared he refuses to have it on his system lol as well as any other horror game).

But, because of that I'm not going to get the game, but it does interest me. I'll be watching videos and looking for the plot of the game after it releases. (Though I hate gory games too, and this one does seem gory)

I mean, The aliens don't even look scary. Seem's more like a thriller type of scary.

    Looks good

I'd be returning Homecoming for this if it wasn't for the fact that I have a compulsive need to collect every SH game.

I think Dead Space is the only Non-Japanese horror game that could actually hold a candle to a masterpiece like SIREN.
