Will it live up to hype ?

Well apparently so judging by Eurogamer's online review. It sets out to make the side-scrolling platform game relevant and exciting again. And it succeeds. Their only criticism seems to be that create mode "isn't for everyone".

But mostly, we're just happy to see a flagship game for a modern system that's about running from left to right and jumping over things. New ideas are great, great old ideas are better, and LittleBigPlanet has both: it's the future and the past of videogames, rolled into one.

    thats a great score this game is going to be wicked
    and of course the creation mode isnt for everyone the developers even said that

      I'm not 100% on this, but this is one of, if not the, highest score Eurogamer has given to a PS3 game ?

        They gave MGS4 an 8.5, so this must be one helluva game!

        So far the game's ratings average is a 9.5.
