For some reason it's added an [XBOX360] tag and hasn't linked the article to LittleBigPlanet either.

On another note, I haven't finished reading the full article yet, but it sounds promising !

So, 10-12 months of level creating, playing other user created levels, playing online with other people and so on and so forth for the price of one game.

You say it like that's a bad thing

Yea its kicking ass but for how long? Given the amount of Shovelware produce on that system, its going to crash and burn. Hell purchasing the Wii with the crappy games and low amount of good games doesn't justify it. Not to mention its ripping consumers off.

    Can't wait.

Yet their user rating average is merely an 8.7. WTF?

So by what I see, it's basically the controls (changing planes) that was the only issue, as well as their opinion that the level editor could use a bit more effort.

    I was expecting a 10/10, though LOL

There will be mindless idiots who give the game a 1/10 just for the hell of it. I'd be willing to bet it has more 1/10 ratings than 2/10, 3/10 and 4/10 combined.

Definitely moving from background to foreground can be a pain......but it was minimal in my experience. I'm psyched for the full version next week!!!

I'm glad the game got a review it deserved and I totally agree with his comment on changing planes, but it can be fixed and most likely will so no worries. The 21st seems so far away!

I'm not sure if it will be fixed. I mean, the beta just ended, but it's really not far from release, so it could already be in mass-production. Though I don't see how changing planes could be fixed; it works perfectly IMO.

the owner of Media Molecule hates the plane system and will be striving to change it in a post release patch, though they are probably struggling how as the plane system was to stop all the 3D sonic like issues of trying to collect stuff not really knowing where you are in relation to it.

Nice comparison with Sonic 3D. That game was frustrating at the best of times.

After reading the review and watching, about half of both consisted of talking about the negatives, then saying how these don't affect the final outcome in the last sentence. They didn't really go into detail about the good bits.

Awesome review. Makes you kinda ponder what one game actually has to do to merit a bloody 10 for Lasting appeal..each to their own I guess.

Unless you're Metal Gear Solid 4 which got a 11/10 rating, literally from IGN.

But that also have guns too.

Damn, it is down >_< AT the very least, the LBP center for this site is down >_>

    So I can't read the review -_-

I do hope they change the planes system, seems to be about the #1 issue for people ATM.

I got into the beta and as for the foreground background movement, it was a problem but it seemed to only be a problem with created levels. And I would chalk that up to every1 in the beta not understanding the way it works yet. But MM levels were perfect. i never had a problem once with theres.
