World of Goo, a seemingly unknown game that released three days ago for the PC and Wii, has been reviewed by GameXtract, and they have given it a 46/50! They note that the only knock on the game is its lasting appeal.

The best part is that the game is only 20 bucks!

Presentation: 9

It’s amazing. You get this quirky, weird and creepy feeling just as soon as you see the title screen. The menu’s are simple, sleek and easy to navigate. As a matter of fact, you just have the main menu and the chapter menu where you select the level. The art style is very original, fluid, vibrant and constantly changes.

Now why would I want to pay $20 to play a game that looks like it was based off of a game from Addictinggames.com or something similar and ported to the Wii?

      Becuase it isn't.

And it's US$15 when you think about it.

For those who don't understand; Gameplay is a major factor on whether a game sucks or not.

Here's a review I wrote on WOG - it truly is an amazing game.

From the casual gamer to a hardcore gamer and everything in-between (especially those with a technical mindset / engineers) - WOG does not disappoint.

And the music is amazing - I know that plays a factor in games like this...

Im not 100% sure what this game is about, but from what i've seen looks kinda similar to LBP.

It isn't. Not at all, on any sort of level. It's more akin to Armadillo Run.

Matter of perception I suppose. And from i've read about it from another site, it says that this is kinda similar to LBP and could be the answer to counter that game.

They are idiots then, because it is nothing like it. It's not even a platformer.
