Whity the Reviewer: Spider Man: Web of Shadows

Spider Man games have been hit or miss. Some were good (Spider Man 2) some were ok (Spider Man 3) and some were meh (Friend or Foe)

The newest Spider Man game however, kicks ass. Whity says, and shows, the gameplay is completely revamped. Previously Spider Man games have had very simplistic gameplay, but this one allows Spidey to use alot of moves and combos for both the regular and black suit which both play and feel very diffrent.

While the Whity does critisize the plot starting off a bit slow and Peter Parker's voice actor being one of the worst, he still reccomends a purchase if you're a Spidey fan, and a rental if you want a nice action game.

    I liked the previous Spiderman games 1-3 & Ultimate (excluding Friend or Foe that one just looked awful.) So I'll probably pick this one up if some other reviews of it are good.

    Damn this and many other positive impressions/reviews I have heard lately on GameGrep and other online communities are making me want to purchase this game. I actually knew very little about this (didnt know it existed til a few weeks back!), and it looks quite fun.

    I am not sure what to think about this game. Most reviews I have seen they say that the like the game and give it a good score then IGN gives it a 5.7 or something like that. I'm not sure what one to believe.

      Whity mentioned in vlog that he thought IGN was on crack giving the game that score.

      I suggest giving the game a rent, its a fun game, but unless you plan on plaaying it more than once, a rent will suffice.

    I don't agree with Whitey here, or at least the score. I think the game deserves 8.5 or 9.0/10 personally.

          Well let's face it, how long will you play a game after you beat it's story? If it's too short, then you can't expect to play it for long after, depends on the fun factor of it. There'd be nothing to do. :S

          Whity should add a 'replayability' category to his reviews, but then that would delay his time in putting them up as he'd need to beat the games first to judge his 'fun factor' of it.

          Great review, though, makes me want to play the game.

          Well considering the fact I replayed Heavenly Sword 10 times and that had 5 hours of gameplay, I say I'd play this alot.

          And there it is. Reviews are biased. xD He isn't going to do what you did with Heavenly Sword. Besides, do we even know if we can replay the story like we can with Heavenly Sword?

          Length is one thing, replay value is another. I didn't remember hearing him discuss it's replay value, should address it more clearly.

          Unfortunatly he's been suspended. He uploaded an early review of Fallout 3, and Bethesda didn't like that. Luckily a friend of his gave him his account so now he's known as Ultimate Chance.

      Dude your comment is so ignorant. For one, reviwes arent set in stone, they're simply guidelines for games so you know what to expect, everything thats said is an opinon and Whity never says that any of what he says is fact.

      So I say to hell with what YOU think because I seriously have no idea where you're comming from with this.
