Top dog review site IGN came out with their review of GH:WT Recently, and the conclusion is average at best - The score doesn't beat GH3 which got a royal 9.4

Read on to find out why.

7.0 Presentation
The customization stuff is quite good, but there are a lot of nagging issues pretty much everywhere.

7.0 Graphics
The character detail is good, though the included character designs are somewhat fugly. But there are lots of texture spots that just look bad and blurry.

8.0 Sound
The soundtrack is awesome, of course, but the output of the music creator is pretty bad.

8.0 Gameplay
The note tracking is loose, which I dig, but the transcription is poor at times. The main mode isn't deep at all.

8.0 Lasting Appeal
The downloadable content support will make or break this score, but outlook is promising. The online stuff can be fun, but the created music will get old fast as the sound quality sucks.

7.9 OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)

How did they let you down? They did not write it with your opinion in mind. Only theirs..

I personally think the reviewer was being rather nitpicky with the music creator. Granted, the interface is somewhat clunky, but the sound quality is not as bad as he makes it out to be. I've been checking GH Tunes throughout the day as I've been plowing through the solo tours and some people have made some pretty creative stuff already. It's only the first day, so I'm hopeful that some great songs will be made in the coming weeks.

Did sound like that didn't it, especially the part about where he was comparing the recording tool to proper programs. Honestly, it's a game, not a studio. Also I find it kind of funny about how he was complaining about the game not telling you if your band is failing or if your singing sucks. I always thought red blinking lights sorta stood out, and he wants realism, so why is he complaining about the singing thing? If you were on stage, you really wouldn't find out if your singing sucked till you either got booed or walked off the stage. I guess it's just a case of to each their own.

Though to be fair the developers themselves did compare their creation tools to that of like ProTools, so that critisism by the reviewer was fair.

Without looking at all the scores, my first guess by the first 3 scores was 7.9/10.

IGN must be tired doing reviews for the same goddamn guitar series. Seriously. It's pretty much the same with each game, just a bit more songs and characters. rockBand shall fall before repeated reviews.

Even Mario games have more variety. I bite my thumb at thee,Guitar Hero,I thus mark thy grave with thee ridiculous repeated releases.

Apparently the drums have been as bad as rock bands but I still think Guitar Hero is more appealing due to it's setlist.
