Resistance 2 Reviewed! IGN gives it 9.5!

Those facing the financial strain in the holiday season may be opting to pick and purchase games selectively and carefully based upon internet reviews. Well It is a bad day for you all. Resistance 2 has been reviewed by IGN, and despite the plethora of highly engaging and immersive titles being released, this PS3 exclusive FPS has just been given 9.5/10!

Thats right. ANOTHER game you cannot resist forking out money for. This is a fantastic review and may encourage many to purchase what seems to be a high quality engaging title this season! Enjoy! :D

Resistance 2 is one of those games that manages to expand on its predecessor in every way. The single player is epic in scope and in story, which is practically worth the price of admission by itself. Then you throw in the extremely engaging co-op and competitive play, which expands on replayability in just about every way possible. Toss in a generous number of unlockables, trophies and community support, and you've got a phenomenal experience. This is an exclusive that PS3 owners should be proud to have in their collection.

    As expected, IGN wouldn't dare to go against the hype around the game. Whether the game deserved it or not.

        Oh it probably does deserve it, no one is looking forward to Resistance 2 more than me. But I just think that IGN base a score on a games hype more than its actual merits. If Resistance 2 was low profile, I'm guessing the score would be a lot lower.

          No need, I already played the beta and it looks loads better. So I have that for my opinion. Also considering the beta isn't anywhere near the full version you can get how awesome the full game is going to get. Sorry your post is invalid.

          You mean besides the fact that he's basing his opinion on the Beta...which is more substancial than talking out of his own ass? I don't really see a problem, especially when he said "I THINK..."

          If someone bases their "opinions" with nothing other than hearsay...sure, that's liable to flaming and discrediting to hell and back and it's fair game...but opinions based on actual experience, that's undisputable.

      The transition between Beta -> Final Product is not always an improvement..I guess its upto opinion though.

    I wasn't really all that impressed with the Beta........waiting 30 seconds to respawn back into the battle was excruciating!!!!

    I want this game, but really only for the story because I played the first one . . . and just HAVE to finish a series

    So . . . I'll probably either rent it, or get it when it's cheaper. Afterall, I have two other games taking up my time right now. I can wait.

    9.5 is a good score! Whether I believe in that score, will be determined when the game releases! Nice review though. Well written and balanced.
