Following this introduction, the player is placed in his pod and unleashed on the first levels of Story mode. Upon completing these levels, the player unlocks the rest of the game’s content. While the first three levels exist to teach the basics of playing the game, with each level becoming progressively more complicated in scope and length than the one it follows, the game never feels overwhelming. The death sequence is quick, and there are a plethora of respawn points scattered throughout the world for those who have problems pressing buttons at the right time, so wasting time isn’t an issue.
